A note from Charlotte
When I was 12 years old, my parents divorced. It was painful, intense, scary, and I certainly didn’t have the skills to cope with such a devastating change to life as I knew it .
In the years that followed, I had to be mature beyond my years, caring and staying strong for my younger brothers. I was so “busy” with school, sports, and extracurriculars — which meant I never had time to slow down and process my emotions.
At 18, I was blindsided and overwhelmed by my emotions. I thought I had survived the hardest part...
From there, I spent years SEARCHING, uncovering, and working through what I was feeling (or not feeling). I sought counseling, I traveled the world, I dove into volunteer work, many new experiences, seeking my truth…
My journey led me to the path of yoga and mindfulness after experiencing the transformational experience myself.
Today I share what I’ve learned with others. I believe in creating a greater collective consciousness through empowering others.
I want to create a world where people:
are validated in their feelings
know how to sit with and process emotions
can heal themselves
accept their bodies
are amazed with themselves
Through my yoga offerings and outings, I empower people of all ages to engage with themselves and begin to heal. Through teen coaching I empower teens and young women to navigate through their challenges in a healthy, constructive way.
